Registering a domain name on Amazon Web Services Route 53 they send an email with a link. This is a requirement mandated by ICANN.
If the link is not clicked the domain remains unverified and after 15 days the domain is suspended.
Luckily, AWS can resend the link and the domain can be re-instated.
